Family Pics

My sister Stephanie had asked me to scan some old family pictures and email them to my sister Jan. I thought you might get a kick out of them. The picture was taken in front of my Grandma Hall's milk house after a fishing party on the Embrarass River.

Tyler is growing

I think I surprise myself on taking pictures. Of course I take a million pictures and have maybe five good ones. Christopher, Brandi, and Tyler were home on Saturday. They are getting ready to go to Japan, so they had brought things home to store. I have new rocking chairs on my front porch for three years at least. There will be plenty of room for all of us gals to sit and gossip together. I am not giving up on my dream of getting you all here together one day for the great Karioke party and gossip fest.

Libby's new tooth

We had quite an eventful day yesterday!! Libby had her friend spend the night on Sunday, and they were playing the Wii, when all of the sudden Libby comes running into the kitchen yelling "MOMMA!!!, LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!!" she was holding her hand under her chin and half of her front tooth was missing. I guess her friend had accidentally hit her in the mouth with the Wii remote and broke her tooth right in half!! This was our first Wii related injury. I had always heard that you should put the tooth in a glass of milk and take her to the dentist as soon as possible. Well, the dentist was closed and she had already swallowed the half that broke off. So we got an appointment first thing Monday morning and got a temporary cap put on it. We have to wait a month to make sure that the tooth doesn't die before they put a permanent porcelain cap on it. If the tooth does die they have to do a root canal before they put the perm. cap on. $$$$$$$$$$$$$ I figure that after insurance has paid their part of the bill, her new 1/2 of a tooth will have cost about the same amount as our new refrigerator!!

Picasa is my favorite photo editing software!!
And... it is free from google.
And...  it just got better!  Version 3 is now available.
If you need something to help you organize, edit and share photos, I highly recommend Picasa from Google.  Just in case you did not know... if you post images on the blog, you automatically get a Picasa Web Album. Way cool!
I know I sound like a commercial, but just wanted to share!!
