Mississippi At Dawn

It was a chilly 47* at 6:45 this morning, just what I needed to wake myself up, so I went out on the back porch to drink my cup of coffee. The fog was just starting to lift, the roosters were crowing and the sun had barely started to peek through the trees in the back yard. About half way through my cup of coffee I saw the most beautiful thing! The sun rise was reflecting off of the fog (that was now about half way up the tree trunks) and the entire sky turned red and looked as if it were on fire! It was truly beautiful. I have never seen a sun rise quite like that one.

You know that George Strait song "I saw God today"? I did!
